I lay on my hospital bed, my scarred wrists bound to the scratched metal frame. My head aches from the electric shock therapy that I received from the so called doctors.
Through the small barred window I stare up at the moon. It looks big and full in the black sky.
I hear other patients screaming, crying, even howling-their inhuman cries echoing around the cold, concrete walls.
I wonder if I’ll dream the same dream again tonight. The one where I smash the mirror and slash that nurse’s throat, the gash in her neck, like a beautiful crimson grin.
In this dream I’m free, where there are no locked doors and treatments to make my brain feel fucked.
In this place I am labelled mentally deranged, locked up and poked and jabbed by the doctors, like some fucking pin cushion.
The doctors think they’re making me better, so why is my brain screaming rage?
I have a plan to escape. When their backs are turned I will strike and bathe in the blood of my tormentors.
I will leave these walls and barred windows, to breath fresh air once more.
Time in here seems to stand still but each ticking second is one closer to my freedom and their deaths.
I close my eyes and dream of freedom.

I hope the staff keep a close eye on this character. Hehe. Nice tale, Jason. It's interesting to be in such a dark mind.
Very powerful. I could feel his rage!
